We’re super excited to have Adrian Ferreyra from B.A’s famous DNI tango school, on the weekend of March 16-17 (St Patrick’s weekend for the Irish…). Workshops will focus on building stability and refining our embrace….. essential and often neglected elements of our tango training.

Secrets for a fluid close embrace

This two part series will examine how we build the embrace through understanding the way opposites work and the importance of effective use of our weight. It includes exercises to improve how we move the energy inside the embrace, create space and smoothly transition between open and close embrace.

Stable turns and playing with dynamics

This two part series will examine how we build our axis at each moment in order to turn comfortably. Exercises will help us to manage different variables including working “in the middle” to create changes in dynamic.
